Increasing throughput as a key to improving efficiency – this is not just a theory, but specific actions implemented in our factory. During a meeting with students of the Poznań University of Technology, our CEO, Grzegorz Kucia, shared his experiences from everyday production management based on the Theory of Constraints (TOC).
Practical examples, numbers and challenges that were overcome – this is what attracted the attention of students, who actively participated in the discussion. The issues of changing the approach to planning and the real impact of TOC on the timeliness of order execution were of particular interest.
The lecture also touched on the future of industry, the role of change leaders, and the need for a broader perspective on operational efficiency – exactly this type of exchange of ideas is needed between the academic world and business.
Importantly, President Grzegorz Kucia invited students to cooperate with FPS, encouraging them to:
– internships and traineeships,
– taking up employment in our company,
– using our support in selecting topics and collecting materials for diploma and engineering theses.
We are open to young, ambitious engineers – we share our experience, offer real challenges and help them take their first steps in the industry.
Thank you for the invitation and we look forward to further opportunities to talk – it is a pure pleasure to be with such an engaged audience.
