The H. Cegielski – Fabryka Pojazdów Szynowych Sp. z o. o. company obtained a permit for the admission to operation of a type of railway vehicle for a modernized type 174A passenger car issued by the Office of Rail Transport.
What does this mean? Soon, passengers will be able to use the wagons modernized by H. Cegielski-Fabryka Pojazdów Szynowych Sp. z o.o.
“We have thus confirmed, in line with the company’s mission, that we build reliable rail vehicles to make every journey safe and comfortable,” said Jarosław Nowak – Project Manager.
Let us recall that since November 2017, the H. Cegielski – Fabryka Pojazdów Szynowych Sp. z o. o. has been consistently implementing the signed Agreement for the modernization of 60 passenger rail cars with the option right for additional modernization of 30 cars.
One of the most important features of the modernized car is its equipment with completely new 25AN4 bogies manufactured by FPS, ensuring proper smooth running, which translates into better passenger comfort - he adds. The interior of the vehicle has gained a modern look, the compartments are equipped with comfortable and ergonomic seats, electrical sockets and panels allowing to control the temperature and lighting. The toilet compartments have been rebuilt using a closed toilet system. In addition, cellular signal amplifiers and devices for wireless Internet have been installed.
