H. Cegielski – Fabryka Pojazdów Szynowych has received an order for the purchase of 55 modern passenger cars. They will be delivered to PKP IC within 48 months. The value of the contract is PLN 473,5 million gross. Modern design, ergonomic seats, air conditioning, wireless internet, easy access to electrical sockets – these are the characteristics of the new PKP Intercity cars. They will be adapted to the needs of different groups of passengers – the carrier will buy 5 first-class compartment cars, 18 second-class non-compartment cars, 18 second-class compartment cars, 7 second-class non-compartment cars, each of which will be equipped with eight bicycle racks and 7 second-class compartment cars, each of which will be adapted to transport disabled people.
